Hold onto your astrological hats, folks! It’s that time again—Mercury is going retrograde, and we’re not just talking about a simple wardrobe malfunction here. We’ve got a cosmic buffet of chaos unfolding before us, and today’s special features a side of Venus Retrograde, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, a New Moon Solar Eclipse, and a rebellious Mars out of bounds. Hold on tight, because March is bringing the madness (a whole lot more than the basketball kind)!
Mercury Retrograde: More Than Just a Butt Dial
So, what’s all this Mercury retrograde hullabaloo? Picture Mercury as that person at a party who insists on hitting the “rewind” button on every retelling of their finest moments. From March 1 to April 26, 2025, our good friend Mercury will be prancing backward, stirring the pot of communication, travel, and technology. Buckle yourselves in as Mercury moonwalks through the cosmos, leaving behind trails of miscommunication, missed flights, and mysteriously vanished emails.
Key Mercury Retrograde Dates:
March 1, 2025: Mercury enters the Retrograde Zone in Pisces. Cue the pre-retro jitters and frantic text messages to your therapist. Mishaps deliver emotional outcomes and may trigger insecurities - just like asking your Magic 8 Ball if your crush likes you only to have it respond "Ask again later."
March 15, 2025: Mercury stations and officially backslides into Aries. The countdown to confusion has reached T minus zero and the boosters on the communication rocket do not perform as planned. Frustration mounts and tempers flare when one issue after the next forces you to slow down and revisit older issues. You may need to strap on a muzzle because when Mercury is in Aries, your mind is fast, and your tongue is sharper than "Outlook not so good."
April 7, 2025: Mercury emerges from its cosmic slumber and moves direct in Pisces. Just because it’s moving forward doesn’t mean everything will be peachy! It does mean that you should experience progress and forward movement at an increasing pace each day - hopefully taking your cues from the Magic 8 Ball and not the "Don't count on it" answer!
April 26, 2025: Mercury finally leaves the Retrograde Zone in Aries. Welcome back to the normal world, if such a thing exists - ask your Magic 8 Ball for confirmation!

Now just as you thought it couldn't get crazier, our lovely Venus is also playing games with our hearts (and our wallets) until April 12, 2025. With Mercury turning back time while Venus is busy revamping romance, get ready for a stellar sideboard of miscommunications with your significant other. Picture that talk about wanting a “deeper connection” turning into a debate about pizza toppings instead. It’s a tempestuous combination that makes dating in the age of social media look like a walk in the park—if that park were filled with confusion and misunderstandings. Ah, but wait—March 14, 2025, brings us a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo. Now, Virgo is ruled by Mercury, making this eclipse like a pizza topped with extra spicy confusion. Expect yet another wave of revelations to hit, urging you to tidy up your life like you’ve just invited unexpected guests over. Whether it’s confronting old habits or finally cleaning out that closet you’ve been avoiding since “who knows when,” this lunar eclipse has its cosmic feather duster ready. Full Moons deliver keen instincts, illuminate situations and bring culmination. In the case of an eclipsed full moon, instincts can be clouded, and outcomes can be unexpected. The Magic 8 Ball equivalent of, "Reply hazy, try again."

Mars Out of Bounds: Rebel Without a Cause
And what’s that we hear? Oh yes, Mars is out of bounds! Now, out of bounds means that our fiery warrior planet is strutting its stuff beyond its regular path—truly acting like a rebellious teenager who’s discovered rock music and painted their room black, all while asking their Magic 8 Ball if they should sneak out for a midnight joy ride with friends. Since Mars rules Aries, this is an especially crucial time during our New Moon Eclipse. As we combust with eagerness and determination, things could go haywire faster than you can say “What was I thinking?” So, be wary of impulsive urges and consider it a strict warning to steer clear of rash decisions and actions during this time.
