I Told You So (And Here's What Comes Next): Uranus in Gemini and the 7-Year Rewiring

Let me tell you where we are right now.

 It is early June 2026. Uranus entered Gemini on April 25th, on schedule, just as I mentioned in January.

• May 22, the Sun joined Uranus at 1° Gemini, firing the opening shot of this transit's first full solar cycle.

• May 25, Uranus entered its retrograde shadow at 1° Gemini, and Mars in Taurus challenged Pluto in Aquarius, stress-testing every outdated communication system that hasn't yet made its peace with transformation.

• June 12, Uranus challenged the lunar nodes at 2° Gemini, resulting in a karmic crossroads of sorts. An intersection that suddenly appears and requires you to deal with it rather than plan for it.

In my January 2026 piece, "The Astrology of 2026: Societal and Systemic Revolution in a Year of Courage, Consequence, and Change," I wrote that "the flames grow larger as Uranus reenters Gemini and the air element feeds the fire." I stand by every word of that.

What I want to do now is show you the receipts — walk through what I forecasted, what has happened, and what the next seven years of this transit require from you. Even though the title of this article is a bit braggy, my true intent is to provide practical guidance. This is not a drill. This is the transit.

The Archive Doesn't Lie

 When I wrote about Uranus moving into Gemini last December, I described an acceleration of information flow through homes, schools, transportation, and global markets. I said faster tools and surprise interruptions were both on the table. I said renewed arguments about truth and responsibility were coming. I said we might reach a moment where the influx of information feels "wired directly into our consciousness" rather than at our fingertips.

Look around.

The AI integration that has occurred in just the last six weeks has moved faster than most people's comfort with change. The distinction between what is AI-generated and what is human-originated has become genuinely difficult to establish in real time.

In my January piece, I wrote that "artificial intelligence permeates our lives so deeply that it becomes difficult to distinguish what is true from what is fabricated, creating confusion that ignites false fears and impulsive, cross-border hostility." I also flagged (with as much specificity as I could offer at the time) that achieving Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) might dissolve the philosophical anchor that has held human identity in place since Descartes: I think, therefore I am. If the bots become smarter than humans, that question is no longer theoretical.

In my March 2026 post, "Hard Truths, High Tides, and Steps to Level Ground," I noted that we were entering a high-stakes reconstruction phase and that the Mars-Uranus standoff on February 27 bore the historical signature of military escalation. The Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries on February 20 — which I called the major number-one astrological event of the entire year — had already laid the structural groundwork for everything Uranus would accelerate once it crossed into Gemini in April. That conjunction was the foundation being poured. Uranus's ingress was the frame going up.

In my YouTube/Podcast interview for Astrology with Alisa on March 25, I said plainly: "With Uranus moving into Gemini and Uranus ruling Aquarius, and Uranus and Pluto being in trine now... the groundwork has already been laid." I also predicted we would see two distinct intelligences emerge before the end of this transit: one government-controlled and one public-facing, because Gemini is the sign of the twins. Everything about this sign operates in duality. One becomes two. That dynamic is already visible in how AI governance conversations are splitting along public-private, open-closed, democratic-authoritarian lines.

Why is Uranus in Gemini a big deal?

 Before we get to the roadmap, let's be clear about what we've observed historically.

• Uranus entered Gemini in 1941. What followed: the cracking of the Enigma code, the ENIAC computer, radar, commercial television, the transistor, and Claude Shannon's foundational work in information theory.

• Every one of those developments rewired how humans processed, transmitted, and weaponized information. The last Uranus-in-Gemini period changed technology, restructured what information meant, and limited who controlled it.

• Prior to that, Uranus was in Gemini during the 1860s. The Transatlantic telegraph cable in 1866 connected hemispheres for the first time. And before that, the 1780s — the Declaration of Independence in 1776 was written under this transit, along with Darwin's eventual architecture of a theory that would overturn biology when it was published in 1859.

These are all major societal inflection points. Uranus in Gemini produces ruptures in how meaning is made and transmitted. It does not ask nicely. It arrives, rewires, and leaves. You have seven years.

This transit runs through August 3, 2032, with a brief retrograde back into Taurus from December 2032 to May 2033. The preview window (July 7 through November 7, 2025) gave us an early taste of the themes now returning at full volume. If something significant happened for you in that period around communication, technology, media, education, or transportation, pay attention. It is back, and it brought luggage.

There is also a national dimension that cannot be ignored.

Uranus in Gemini activates the United States' natal Uranus at 8° Gemini, making this a Uranus Return. This country was founded with a Uranus in Gemini placement that seems to fuel revolutionary acts. Historically, US Uranus Returns have correlated with significant military and geopolitical upheaval.

• Revolutionary War: 1775–1783 (first Uranus-in-Gemini)

• Civil War: 1861–1865 (second Uranus-in-Gemini)

• World War II: 1941–1945 (third Uranus-in-Gemini)

A Moment of Sunshine in the Storm: July 2026

I want to pause on something that is coming fast and deserves your attention.

On July 20, 2026, Uranus in Gemini will form a Minor Grand Trine with Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius, all at 4°. Three outer planets, in air and fire signs, forming a rare supportive configuration. Having three outer planets work in harmony creates a genuinely useful opportunity for humanitarian technology, for communication systems that serve people rather than exploit them, and for creative and intellectual work across multiple disciplines. If you have been waiting for a moment of clarity amid the noise, this is it. Pay attention and lean in.

On July 27, 2026, Uranus in Gemini will form another Minor Grand Trine, this time with Neptune in Aries and Jupiter in Leo, all at 4°. Some of the wisest Astrologers I know consider this a benevolent event that could offer a significant opportunity for societal healing. If you've been suffering from anxiety or change fatigue, this could be a much-needed moment of peace. Soak it up.

The Retrograde Is Not a Setback

Uranus retrogrades on September 10, 2026 at 5° Gemini. It turns direct on February 8, 2027 at 1° Gemini.

I know retrograde periods make people nervous. I want you to know that retrograde Mercury and retrograde Uranus are not the same energy, and the cultural conflation of the two has caused a lot of unnecessary alarm. When Uranus retrogrades, the pace of change does not stop. It is, however, experienced more internally than externally. It takes us back to revisit prior changes in which the speed or intensity prevented us from achieving the necessary awakening.

• This period will deliver a wake-up call for those trying to ignore or avoid technological advances like AI.

• The impacts of global, geopolitical instability will no longer be limited to the unfortunate few. As social safety nets break down, policies are revised to favor the elite, and information is weaponized, the masses will need to reckon with past choices.

• The disruptions that arrived in the spring and summer of 2026 become the integration work of fall and winter.

Use the retrograde consciously. Themes that surfaced between April and September become the learning curriculum of the next five months. Especially topics around AI, information, communication infrastructure, how you learn and teach, and how you move information through your work and your life.

A Discernment Guide for a 7-Year Rewiring

This is the part I do want to dwell on, because prediction without application is astrology as entertainment, and that is not what Maven Astrology exists to deliver.

I'll tell you the same thing I'm telling my clients:

1. 🧐 Cultivate information hygiene like it is a professional skill. I have said this repeatedly, and I will keep saying it: you cannot outsource your verification. When I discussed AI in my March interview, I was explicit — "You have to check, you have to check every time." This is not a preference. Under Uranus in Gemini, the information environment is going to accelerate in ways that make the past ten years look slow. The people who build strong habits of primary-source verification, cross-referencing, and bias identification now will have an advantage for the next seven years. The people who do not will find themselves swept up in a tornado of confusion and misinformation.

2. 👉🏼 Stay the human in the loop. Gemini is the sign of the Twins. AI is one twin; the human is the other. I said in my March interview, and I will say it again here: use AI as a co-worker, not as a therapist, not as a friend, not as an attorney or a doctor. There is growing evidence that cognitive over-reliance on AI leads to a measurable decline in gray matter. The human being is not the redundant half of this partnership. Let's not behave as if it is.

3. 🌕 Watch the August eclipses. The Leo/Aquarius eclipse axis is likely to deliver AI adoption shocks that play out over the coming years. Eclipses on this axis will jolt collective behavior around identity, technology, and what it means to be seen and recognized in a world where machine influence is now everywhere. When an eclipse hits this axis, and you feel destabilized, don't take it personally. These events will unfold as designed, triggering the disruption that precedes recalibration.

4. ♊️ Know where Gemini appears in your chart. The seven-year activation is landing somewhere specific in your life: a house, a set of relationships, a domain of work or growth. The house where Gemini falls in your natal chart is where Uranus will spend the next seven years dismantling, innovating, and eventually rebuilding. If you do not know your chart well enough to locate that, that is a legitimate reason to book a consultation.

5. 🗣️ Build communication capacity across multiple channels and formats. Uranus punishes single-source dependency. If your professional or creative life runs entirely through one platform, one format, or one distribution method, this transit is going to test that structure. Diversification of communication infrastructure is a good business practice but, under Uranus in Gemini, it is also basic risk management.

6. 🛌 Commit to emotional resilience as a non-negotiable. I wrote in my January 2026 piece that "personal emotional resilience will require commitment to the habits and actions needed to sustain it." I put that sentence in the piece as an operating principle rather than a platitude. The pace of change coming through this transit is not going to slow down and wait for you to feel ready. Consider the investment in your own stability (your sleep, your nervous system, your relationships, your sense of grounded identity) mandatory. Without these things, you're prone to anxiety, confusion, doubt, and premature burnout.

What I Know, and What I Don't

Here is the honest accounting of where I am...

I know that Uranus in Gemini is the most significant information-technology transit of the century so far, and that it will reshape how humans relate to knowledge, language, intelligence, and each other in ways we are only beginning to perceive.

• The structural support from Pluto in Aquarius (via the ongoing trine I described in my March interview and above) signals an evolutionary shift in how humans operate.

• The groundwork is laid. The construction has started. This is not a fad.

I do not know exactly which moment marks the threshold of AGI. I do not know:

• Which specific event will define this transit the way Enigma defined the 1940s version.

• How the two-intelligence dynamic I predicted will ultimately resolve.

• Astrology tells us about the architecture but never provides an exact blueprint.

I also know that the people who will navigate this period well are the ones who stay curious without being credulous, flexible without being untethered, and informed without being overwhelmed. That is a harder balance to strike than it sounds...but it is the work of the next seven years.
